INFOLOG GTS “Goods Traceability System”

Description
The traceability software package, GTS, is a tool that meets all supplier, distributor and service provider requirements. It offers the following functionalities:
 
- Tracking the journey of a product, a product lot, a product best-by date or all the logistical units pf a product by adhering to EANCOM standards.
- Identifying the different parties involved in the supply chain process and having supplied, warehoused and delivered a product or a logistical unit.
- Creating, managing and following up alert dossiers enabling you to follow and control:
the physical retrieval/recalling of products,
the level of information the different actors have,
at what stage those concerned by an alert are in relation to the action to be taken.
- Enabling different identified parties to activate the retrieval and recalling of target products in the shortest time possible.
- Enabling different identified parties to be informed and to inform the different proper authorities.
- Respecting and remaining in conformity with regulations.
 
The idea of logistical traceability is to localize products at any moment whatever their status and their physical state. This is precisely the aim of the GTS Traceability software which enables you to pinpoint at any given moment pre-determined data relating to product lots or groups via one or more key identifiers (SSCC, lot number, serial number, supplier, manufacturing date, etc.).
 
In order to meet its objectives, INFOLOG GTS manages a whole set of data. It can collect, process and interchange data and information with INFOLOG WMS and/or other WMS software packages throughout the entire supply chain process. The GTS software can be described as a data collector. The data collected can be defined as follows:
 
Certain data is fed and updated as transactions are sent  up to the GTS software. This operational mode is advantageous for any company that installs traceability software as the time needed to set parameters is minimal. Each transaction sent up feeds the master files; data is effectively input automatically.
 
Certain data is created by a user at software installation. This data is added to the information acquired through the transmission up of transactions to GTS.
 
Other data are preset by the INFOLOG Solutions; the user can use this data but not modify it. Only INFOLOG Solutions can change this information. This regulatory data linked to the management of product distribution 
chains.
